I have a lot going on in the main studio blog but I wanted to make a more condensed version of things that have happened in the shop itself.
First and foremost, some items will be getting removed from the online shop.
1st) Face masks have officially been removed from my website as well as the section of the shop. I haven't had a sale of them in the last couple of years so I have made the decision to remove them for the time being. If anything were to happen in the future I have it set up so I can quickly add them back to my shop.
2nd) I will be removing all lanyards from my website moving forward. The section of the shop as well as the items themselves will no longer be available to order online. They will only be available at some in person events.
3rd) Pin back buttons will also be leaving my website. I am going to leave them up until the end of May but after that they will be gone and the section will also be removed from the shop and they will no longer be available to order online. Like the lanyards, they will only be available at some in person events.
4th) Several of my choker collar designs will be leaving as well. While I don't make many often anymore and I haven't designed any in a hot minute, I do want to focus on original designs. I am going to be working on removing designs with printed ribbon. I will be keeping my original designs like the spike vampire collar or even the horror/Halloween themed ones like the Sam from Trick or Treat and Freddy Krueger pieces. The chokers with printed ribbon are simply no longer inspiring joy or creativity and I have found that looking at the overwhelming amount of ribbon designs that I have is not helping in the slightest, it's quite overwhelming.
I also have several new things as well!
5th) Prints! I have recently turned some more art into prints and they are now available as well! I have spent the last couple of months making prints and saving print files for the various sizes and by the time this blog goes out, all current print designs should be posted and available to order and to purchased at live events as well.
6th) Last year I brought back sticker sheets with a revival of my Rocky Horror sheet as we
l as introducing a Boo Bee Costume Party set. This month I bring to you my brand new Crystal Banger sticker sheet. I have two variants of the Crystal Banger sheet because I ordered from two different printers because it looked like the first set wasn't going to be delivered in time for me take them to a show that I had designed them for so ordered from a different printers that I knew could get them to me in time and then ended up having both. One is much brighter and almost cartoony in how vibrant the colors are while the other sheet is more muted and looks more like the crystals each piece was inspired by. All sticker sheets, just like my regular stickers, are made of vinyl.
7th) I have made my very first set of sticky notes. It features the line art of the Crystal Banger sticker sheet as a repeating pattern after having someone dear to me practically begging for me to make them as sticky notes for her to be able to use because she thought the idea was absolutely
hilarious. She was very much right, it was something I needed to do if for nothing more than giggles. I adore how they came out and this may very well be the start of something new that I start creating more of. This will be located in Stationary as well as on the main shop page.
8th) I teased on Instagram that these were coming and they are finally here! I have finally gotten around to designing and making available my very first notepad! They are 4.25" x 7" and have 25 sheets each. You'll be able to choose between having
them with a magnet on the back or without the magnet. These will also be available in Stationary as well as on the main shop page.
9th) And finally for this update, I have a new vinyl sticker available! This piece is heavily inspired by the movie Crimson Peak. I have been in love with this movie since I originally saw it while it was in theaters and have been absolutely obsessed with it. The teacup design was inspired by the teacup that was being used to poison Edith and I have a part of a skull rising out of the "tea".
I do have some original art that I have done recently but since I've got some vendor events coming up soon so I haven't added it to the shop yet. Since they are one off pieces this is just going to help save my sanity during shows. I have taken product photos and will probably build up the listing as a draft that way I can publish when I'm between events.
